The mid credits scene of age of ultron shows the bigger bad of the entire franchise, thanos, reaching into a vault and putting on the 'left' infinity gauntlet. Thanos manages to get a hold of the infinity gauntlet and puts it in his hand. Now while i couldn't care less about those scenes personally, the absence of such a scene was rather notable.
